Ep. 1032: Ran Takes a Model Job While Conan Investigates Shiny Clues

Ran accepts a part-time modeling position from painter Ryuji Kasuga after he approaches her outside a department store. Kasuga is accompanied by his assistant Riko Mitsui and new apprentice Yoshio Komiyama, who harbors feelings for Kasuga due to his sudden shift toward painting female figures. Riko also appears displeased with the arrangement. Meanwhile, Conan notices an unnatural shine outside his window and investigates the garden. A gardener informs him that Ran’s modeling role has a poor reputation. Consequently, Conan speaks with former models Aiyo Nagahata and Machiko Nogami, both of whom claim they were pushed and saw Kasuga prior to the incident. After hearing Machiko’s account, Conan urgently attempts to contact Kogoro.
