Ep. 119: Stu Hogan Disguised as Masked Yaiba During Deadly Party Incident
Aired on October 12, 1998Filler

119
Conan, Richard, Rachel, and the Junior Detective League encounter Stu Hogan in a Masked Yaiba costume before his party with York Taylor and Melanie Seymour. Sam Mitchner bursts in, shoots Stu, and appears to commit suicide, but Stu survives due to a bulletproof vest. Conan reveals Sam was murdered, not suicidal, in a staged play using real bullets. George’s fingerprint on Sam’s gun proves he never touched it; instead, he handled Stu’s weapon earlier, confirming Stu swapped the guns. Stu confesses to the killings, citing vengeance for his brother Henry, who died in an accident after Sam stole his rare Masked Yaiba poster.
