Kenneth informs police he rang the doorbell the previous day. Conan finds blood above the peephole and tranquilizes Richard, revealing Maya was murdered by her sister Mindy. Mindy drugged Maya, moved her to the bathroom, sealed the door and window with duct tape, and slit her wrist before leaving. She later manipulated witnesses into breaking the door down while twisting the knob to fake a seal breach. Mindy accidentally transferred blood from her bandanna to the door when checking on Kenneth. She confesses that Maya stole her boyfriend. Mindy later runs to Maya's body, begging her to wake up, but fails. Afterward, Richard runs on stage at Yóko Okino's concert to give flowers, but this turns out to be a dream.
