Serena invites Rachel to an online magic fan meeting. After dropping Rachel off, Conan and Richard hear on the radio that club member Tatsuo Nashiyama is found dead with the dying message Dark Master. Conan returns to the lounge but finds the only bridge on fire. He crosses before it collapses and arrives at the scene. Toshiya Hamano is later discovered dead ten metres from the lounge. Conan investigates the crime, puzzled by the lack of footprints in the snow surrounding the victims.
