Ep. 244: Richard Moore's Imposter Part Two Unveils The Embezzlement Conspiracy And Killer Identity

Conan deduces that the long-haired man and Tatsuo were murdered, leading him to locate the treasure and confront the culprit in the forest alongside Detective Yamamura. The killer is revealed to be Masao Jinbo, who orchestrated an embezzlement scheme with the long-haired man to steal 50 billion yen. Fearing betrayal, the partner left a threatening message, prompting Jinbo to murder him and stage the scene using evidence from a suicide case. Jinbo also killed Tatsuo after the latter discovered the briefcase contained only a sumo magazine and threatened to expose the truth. Conan presents evidence linking Jinbo to the crime, including footprints on a shogi board and his knowledge of Kogoro’s identity. After Jinbo surrenders, Kogoro picks up his fans for a ride.
