Heiji informs Conan that a source regarding Eisuke's father is deceased, but his grandson, Souhei Nishigun, possesses a relevant photograph. Conan, Haibara, and Agasa visit Nishigun's apartment, only to find the photograph album missing and computer data deleted. Conan detects fresh perspiration in the room, indicating the theft occurred very recently. He deduces that one of Nishigun's three friends is the culprit, as they are the only individuals with keys to the apartment. The group must identify which friend committed the robbery to recover the evidence concerning Eisuke's father.
