A blackout and a vase sound lead them to Kakuzo’s room, where they find him hanged. Conan identifies three anomalies: glue securing the rope knot, a broken vase with sweat near the top, and a blood-stained book titled "Killer of Hades." Police conclude that if the book is a dying message, the killer must be among the three suspects.
