Conan, Kogoro, and Ran encounter Misao Yamamura blocking Mount Fuyana while hunting the Silver Witch, who drives a White FD and causes screaming tire sounds. Yamamura explains his grandmother quit after the witch drove into the air. Kogoro returns the next day with Conan and Ran to race the witch, stopping when Conan notes she entered a less-traveled road. Kogoro orders Yamamura to detain all White FD drivers. Upon arrival, Kogoro interrogates three suspect pairs to identify the true witch among them, relying on the clues gathered during the previous encounter to solve the mystery.
