Ep. 891: Kogoro Investigates a Family Treasure Letter and an Armed Robbery Suspect in Yamaguchi

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan travel to Yamaguchi Prefecture after Kogoro receives a letter from Kurataya Komakichi regarding a family treasure. There, they meet Natsume Asuka, a news site reporter. When Kogoro mentions meeting Kurataya, Asuka alerts the police, leading to Kogoro’s arrest. Kurataya is revealed to be a suspect in an armed robbery from a year ago involving millions of yen worth of Kiecho coins. After his release, Asuka explains the situation to Kogoro, who decides to take on the case. During the investigation, Kogoro is nearly shot by the culprit, but Conan manages to save him.
