Ep. 24: Marika protects Bentenmaru from Grand Cross while pirates face imminent attack.

During a Grand Cross assault, Marika saves the Bentenmaru and reaches the Pirate's Nest asteroid station for repairs. There, she and Chiaki meet Kenjo, who warns that the pirates will arrive in three days despite ongoing attacks. Marika confronts Quartz Christie, captain of the Grand Cross, who reveals her motives are gathering battle data and criticizing the pirates' lack of piracy. Simultaneously, Misa and Kane discover that Luca is an impostor android spy for the Grand Cross, while a man resembling Kane observes them secretly. Marika speaks with her mother on the phone, unaware that Ririka is accompanying Ironbeard on the Parabellum toward the Pirate's Nest.
