Ep. 25: Luca returns after being lost while Quartz arrives for a duel with Marika

Luca returns to the crew, claiming she was lost while vacationing and concealing Ririka’s assistance during the android impostor incident. The space pirates gather in the main dining hall, where they are surprised by Quartz’s arrival. The head chef permits her presence because she is a pirate endorsed by the Galactic Empire. Marika challenges Quartz to a duel between their respective forces, which Quartz accepts. Before a hotheaded captain causes trouble, Ironbeard intervenes, acting on orders from the Empress to retrieve Quartz. At dinner, Ironbeard and Quartz are confronted by the captain but are subdued by Ririka. Misa arrives and learns Kane switched places with his twin brother Shane McDougal, helmsman of the Parabellum crew. Ironbeard questions whether local pirates will become true pirates or privateers. With Bentenmaru repaired and upgraded, Marika is chosen to lead the space pirate forces toward their duel with the Grand Cross.
