Arrows fired from offshore ships strike the wharves, causing panic. Rin falls behind but is rescued by Anotsu, who tells her to follow. Kagimura divides his forces to target Manji and Rin, attack Makie, and prepare for a duel with Anotsu Kagehisa. Meanwhile, Magatsu discovers and rescues the injured Ryo in the snow. Arashino severely wounds Manji, but Rin pleads for his life, buying time for Manji to regenerate and kill Arashino. Anotsu and Kagimura fight to a standstill. Ryo intervenes for her father, but he refuses her help. Makie arrives after defeating her opponents but is suddenly struck down by a volley of gunshots.
