Ep. 5: Rudeus Fakes Kidnapping to Win Eris's Trust Amidst Real Danger

Paul forbids Rudeus from seeing Sylphiette for five years while he tutors Eris in Roa. Eris is hostile, so Rudeus stages a kidnapping with her father's consent to gain her trust. After escaping, they discover a servant betrayed them, turning the fake event into a real abduction. Rudeus fights the criminals to protect Eris until Ghislaine arrives, killing the attackers and arresting the traitor. Eris then accepts Rudeus as her tutor, and he begins living in her house.
