Kabuto discloses that he murdered Rinji and that Orochimaru seeks the Three-Tails for an impending war. He summons Rinji's corpse to assault Guren, who retaliates by encasing both herself and the corpse in a massive crystal. This structure plunges into the lake, leading Yuukimaru to assume Guren has perished. Overcome with grief, Yuukimaru's emotional state triggers the Three-Tails to enter a violent rage. Naruto employs his Collaboration Jutsu to strike the beast, successfully driving it beneath the water's surface. Afterward, Naruto approaches the distraught Yuukimaru and promises that they will return home together, ending the immediate conflict.
