Meanwhile, Sasuke awakens in a cave where Madara approaches him. After Sasuke unleashes Amaterasu, Madara recovers and discusses Itachi's extensive plans. He reveals that Itachi's actions were intended to protect Sasuke, leaving the younger ninja to process this new information about his brother's motives and the true nature of their conflict.
