Madara reveals to Sasuke that Itachi acted as a double agent, leaking Uchiha intelligence to the village while coordinating with Madara to eliminate the clan. Driven by heartbreak and vengeance, he renames his team to Taka and declares their objective is the destruction of Konoha. During this declaration, he reveals his newly awakened Mangekyo Sharingan.
