As Sasuke nears the Uchiha hideout, Itachi remembers his past with his younger brother and the assassination he committed after joining the Anbu while under surveillance for suspicious behavior. Upon arrival, Sasuke claims his eyes have foretold Itachi's death, initiating a destined clash between the siblings. During the fight, Itachi uses illusions to deceive Sasuke, revealing that he conspired with Madara Uchiha, the Leaf's founder and the first to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan, when he slaughtered their clan. This segment marks the second part of the Fated Battle Between Brothers arc, consisting of two out of ten parts.
