Ninja bandits discuss the Forbidden Jutsu with their leader. Meanwhile, Team 7 persuades Hotaru to let them guard her until arriving at her village. Utakata recalls past events, then encounters the bandits and battles them until a barrier jutsu traps and explodes around him. Team 7 reaches Hotaru's village and leaves her with the locals. However, Naruto Uzumaki feels uneasy about the villagers' behavior toward Hotaru and returns to investigate. This segment is part of the Six-Tails Unleashed arc.
