While stopping for supplies on an island in the Land of Water, Naruto meets Akatsuchi and Kurotsuchi from the Hidden Stone, who are delivering a letter from Onoki to Mei Terumi. Akatsuchi is injured during a confrontation with ninja who deserted the Hidden Mist to protest the Allied Shinobi Forces. Naruto persuades the group's leader to abandon his grudge against the Hidden Stone regarding a past incident. He vows to carry the world into an era of peace. The episode concludes with a boat arriving from the Land of Lightning to transport the group back to Konoha. This segment is part of the Paradise Life on a Boat arc, specifically episode 20 out of 20.
