While battling the Nine Tails, Naruto nearly succumbs to its hatred until a red-haired woman intervenes. She reveals herself as the chakra imprint of his mother, Kushina Uzumaki, correcting his belief that she was an illusion. Kushina recounts meeting Minato Namikaze at the Academy, where she initially disliked her red hair due to teasing. Her perspective shifted when Minato used her hair to locate Hidden Cloud ninja who had kidnapped her because of her unique chakra. This event led to her falling in love with him. Finally, she entrusts Naruto with the responsibility of fulfilling their shared dreams.
