Following his brother's sealing, Kinkaku transforms into a pseudo-Nine-Tails and overwhelms Darui's division. At headquarters, Ay's secretary Mabui uses object teleportation jutsu to send the Kohaku no Johei sealing pot to Darui's group, who are reinforced by Shikakumaru and half of the Fourth Division. With assistance from Team Asuma, Darui successfully seals Kinkaku. However, Kakuzu then arrives, revealing the enemy's gold and silver pieces: Dan Kato and the reanimated Asuma Sarutobi. This confrontation occurs during the Fourth Shinobi World War: Confrontation arc, specifically episode 10 of 53.
