Allied Shinobi Forces observe the Ten-Tails burning while Naruto seeks to extract Tailed Beasts and Sasuke aims to destroy it. The creature escapes by severing its burning body. In another dimension, Obito and Kakashi Hatake mutually impale each other before Obito returns to the battlefield. Madara, lamenting that Obito outlived his purpose, forces him to use the Art of Rinne Rebirth to resurrect and become the Ten Tails Jinchuriki. Minato creates a Shadow Clone to assist Naruto and Sasuke against Obito while Hashirama and Tobirama confront Madara. Minato discovers his former apprentice was the masked ninja from the night of his death. Obito then regains control, frees the Ten-Tails, and absorbs it to become a Jinchuriki.
