Ep. 376: Orochimaru's Experiment Becomes Mecha-Naruto to Capture the Nine Tails
Orochimaru's lightning-activated experiment attacks him, forcing evacuation. Itachi and Kisame retrieve the damaged construct for Pain, who repairs and modifies it using the King of Hell. The Akatsuki leader tasks Itachi with capturing the Nine-Tails using the new mechanical replica, Mecha-Naruto. Upon reaching Konohagakure, Mecha-Naruto attacks villagers and defeats Team Guy before confronting Naruto. Naruto's clone assault fails, and Mecha-Naruto tears his cloak, revealing its identity while siphoning chakra. Kakashi and Yamato rescue Naruto, allowing escape via a secret tunnel. Mecha-Naruto destroys the village searching for him. Tsunade devises a plan to lure it away using a palanquin carried by Chouji, Kiba, Neji, and Shikamaru, with Kakashi providing backup. Shino and Shikamaru attempt distractions but are defeated. Tsunade then orders Shizune to request assistance from Sunagakure.
