While Madara breaks free from Hashirama’s seal as the Shinobi Alliance approaches, Obito accepts defeat after realizing Rin was his only hope. He recalls Nagato’s betrayal in reviving Konoha’s citizens and understands that Nagato’s alliance with Naruto stems from Jiraiya’s teachings. Determined to atone, Obito attempts to use the Samsara of Heavenly Life to revive those lost in the Great Ninja War. However, Black Zetsu interrupts, forcing the technique to resurrect Madara instead. The revived Madara, missing his original eyes, defeats Sasuke and steals Hashirama’s sage chakra. As he prepares to confront the Tailed Beasts, Kakashi and Minato learn from Tobi Zetsu and White Zetsu that Madara has been fully resurrected.
