After finishing work early, Team Seven decides to discover Kakashi's true face with the help of a photographer named Sukea. They break into a secure storage facility to find his registration photo but are caught by Anbu. Later, they attempt various schemes to unmask him during meals, but each effort is thwarted by interruptions from other ninja teams. The plan culminates in a complex trap involving disguised members and shadow clones, which ultimately fails due to interference from Team Guy. Sukea departs, and it is revealed that he was Kakashi in disguise all along. Watching from afar, Kakashi reflects on his students' growing teamwork and realizes he can no longer easily deceive them.
