Ep. 466: Ashura and Taisou journey to a village near the former God Tree site to help the sick.
Ashura worries Indra alienates others, but Taisou lies about clearing trees for his mother’s medicine. Indra punishes Taisou and dismisses Ashura’s guilt. Hagoromo suggests leniency, but Indra insists on punishment. Ashura frees Taisou, leading to a fight with Indra, observed by Hagoromo. Later, Hagoromo tasks Ashura and Indra with visiting locations damaged by the Ten-Tails fight to choose a successor. Ashura, unwilling to lead, travels with Taisou, who was sent by his mother. They reach a village near the old God Tree, where villagers attack them. Ashura heals an injured attacker, gaining entry. Suspicious of restricted areas, Ashura attempts to heal Kanna’s mother but fails due to strong chakra. Finding graves of similar victims, Ashura, Taisou, and Kanna enter a cave within the God Tree’s roots.
