Natsume Yuujinchou: Utsusemi ni Musubu

Natsume encounters a former classmate named Yuki, which stirs up memories of a particular Yokai. He also meets Yorie Tsumura, a woman who knew much about Reiko and now lives with her son, Mukuo. Spending time with them brings him comfort, though a mysterious Yokai is said to be in their town. During a visit, a Yokai seed attached to Nyanko Sensei falls into the Fujiwaras’ garden and quickly grows into a tree. After Nyanko Sensei consumes a fruit resembling himself, he unexpectedly splits into three copies of himself.
