Ep. 1: Nano loses an arm chasing a cat while Yūko and Kōjirō cause chaos at school.

Nano pursues a cat that stole her breakfast, collides with a student, and ends up on a roof with a missing arm. Yūko takes extreme measures to protect her octopus sausage, while Kōjirō Sasahara disrupts the school opening ceremony by bringing a goat, leading to him being shot and reprimanded by Misato Tachibana. Yūko also tricks Mio into activating the fire alarm. Later, Nano asks her creator, the Professor, to remove the visible windup key on her back, but he refuses, claiming it is cute.
