Ep. 17: The Vassals Battle While Lante and Bennu Rescue Sariphi from Fenrir
Lante, Bennu, and Cy search for Sariphi in the desert. Fenrir reveals his past as a prince disowned after losing to Leonhart, now seeking to rule the weak. Intrigued by Sariphi’s resistance to his spells, he wants her despite her love for Leonhart. Meanwhile, Anubis leads Ozmargo's army against rebels. Nir offers Anubis a place on their side, stabbing him when refused. Fenrir reveals Nir’s loyalty stems from being saved from slavery. Jormungand rescues Anubis and wounds Nir, who escapes. Sariphi comforts Fenrir during a nightmare. Lante fights Fenrir while Bennu unties Sariphi and flies her away. She orders Bennu to return for Lante, who is losing badly. They escape the fortress but collapse from exhaustion. Cy telepathically informs Clops of the location, who relays it to Leonhart.
