Ep. 5: Koyomi learns Karen was poisoned by Kaiki and seeks Shinobu's help to cure her fever.

Koyomi discovers from Tsukihi and Tsubasa that Karen attempted to confront Kaiki alone. During this encounter, Kaiki inflicted Karen with a poison that left her paralyzed on the floor before he escaped. After walking Tsubasa home, Koyomi cares for Karen’s fever. Karen insists he leave her alone to avoid infecting him. Koyomi then visits Shinobu to ask if he can transfer the fever to himself. Shinobu confirms a method exists but advises against it because it involves an unusual ritual.
