Altena clarifies Kirika’s purpose as an assassin, while Chloe describes the lifestyle at the Manor. The next day, Borne and Marennes, two of Altena’s key followers, arrive for the Noir revival ritual. Kirika and Chloe engage in sword training, where Kirika breaks Chloe’s sword despite Chloe’s extensive experience with such weaponry. After bathing, Chloe reveals the olive fork she took after their tea party. Altena then gives Kirika her gun, reminding Kirika of when Altena first provided it before the mission to kill the Bouquets. Kirika points the gun at Altena, but Altena convinces her that Noir can have a positive impact on society.
