Ep. 23: Mireille rejects recruitment to save Kirika at the Manor

After Kirika’s departure, Mireille practices shooting in the sewers until Remy Breffort, a high-ranking Soldat, offers her a faction position with greater influence than her Corsican parents held. Returning to her damaged apartment, Mireille discovers a letter from Kirika expressing gratitude for their friendship, which overwhelms her with emotion. She subsequently meets Breffort again to firmly reject his recruitment attempt. Mireille declares her intention to travel to the Manor to rescue Kirika, explicitly refusing to involve herself in Les Soldats' political affairs. Meanwhile, Kirika arrives at the Manor, where Altena welcomes her back home.
