Yukiko holds Sakuma responsible for BES’s impact on Mac, while Yoshimura provides data to Mikio and Yukiko. Mac and Maya seek to end the conflict without entering Mac Time. Joe and Mac fight evenly until Joe’s poor health causes him to fall, though he recovers to knock down Mac. Mac fights exceptionally by focusing on his family, avoiding Mac Time. Sachio throws in the towel as promised, declaring Mac the winner. Yukiko announces she will open BES technology to the world, steps down from her position, and Sakuma is arrested. Liu begins rehabilitation with Yuri. Joe returns to Gym Nowhere to reunite with friends. The group sees off Sachio, who leaves to pursue his dream of becoming a Gear engineer.
