Ep. 2: Hotaru acts mature while helping plant seedlings with friends

Renge, Hotaru, and the Koshigaya siblings assist Kazuho in planting seedlings within the Miyauchi garden. When rain begins, they construct a greenhouse to protect the plants from the cold, a concern raised by Renge. On Sunday, Konomi introduces Akane to the group to help manage her anxiety, though Akane initially mistakes Hotaru for an older individual. Later in the week, Hotaru experiences embarrassment when Konomi observes her behaving in a childlike manner, despite Hotaru being a 5th grader. The group focuses on gardening tasks while navigating social interactions and age perceptions among the friends.
