Renge distributes tomatoes planted in episode 2 as a Summer Christmas gift. She assists Shiori, the daughter of the resident police officer, who is lost and addresses Renge as onee-chan, which pleases her. Renge uses toy handcuffs purchased with her New-Year's money to restrain Kaede, though they cannot locate the key. She then engages in roleplay as a police officer with Shiori, deciding to arrest Hikage and Natsumi. When Shiori falls asleep, Renge takes her role as a big sister very seriously.
