After failing her exam, Kanako must complete a local history report to pass. Junpei asks Kotone and Akari to guide his friends through the neighborhood to gather the necessary information. The group’s playful interaction with a maneki-neko figurine triggers a superstition, prompting Kotone and Akari to intervene and perform a purification chant. That night, the friends are threatened by the figurine’s vengeful spirit, which intends to kill them. Relying on Junpei’s unexpected assistance, Kotone and Akari struggle to defend themselves. Through their combined efforts, they successfully manage to destroy the malevolent spirit and resolve the supernatural incident.
