Junpei agrees to help a cat named Michi get fit to catch sparrows and win the affection of his beloved. Nagi interrupts to invite him to join her track and field club alongside Kaede. Neglecting his promise to Michi leads the cat to exact revenge by placing Junpei in an embarrassing situation. Junpei intended to return Kaede's handkerchief the next day but mistakenly pulls her missing underwear from his bag instead. After Michi apologizes for the prank, Junpei trains the cat to become stronger. He then explains the mix-up to Kaede and returns the handkerchief, allowing Michi to be with his beloved.
