The duo travels to the Alola region, where Ash reunites with his Alolan Pokémon, old friends, and mentor Professor Kukui, along with new family members. During a party thrown by Ash’s friends, Kiawe challenges Goh to a battle to test his worth as Ash’s rival. Goh’s Raboot faces off against Kiawe’s Turtonator in a match that introduces Goh to Z-moves and concludes with a surprising outcome.
