Meowth suffers from a cold while Team Rocket fails to comfort him, prompting Jessie and James to study Pikachu after viewing drone footage. Jessie attempts to dub over Pikachu's sounds to understand him, but neither human actually comprehends the Pokémon. In the second story, Ash, Goh, and their Pokémon encounter a Marshtomp trapped in dry, hard soil. Goh's attempts to free it using Sobble's Water Gun or by catching it fail. As they search for a water source to rescue the trapped Pokémon, a Ludicolo named Runpappa appears, potentially offering a solution if the group can communicate their needs effectively.
