While assisting an elderly shopkeeper during a shopping trip, Liko and Roy receive a limited edition box of Wiglett sweet buns as a reward. Coral, who desires the same treat, sends a letter demanding the box after the shop's supply is depleted. Liko inadvertently angers Coral by opening the box to share the contents, unaware that Coral views the packaging solely as a collectible item. This dispute leads Coral to challenge Liko and Roy to a battle, which Sidian joins. The fight is interrupted when the Explorers are summoned to their island base, revealing their plan to summon Rayquaza. Liko, Roy, and Friede deduce that the nearby spire serves as their base and decide to investigate the location.
