The Rising Volt Tacklers arrive in Paldea and visit a beach protected by Palafin, a heroic transforming Pokémon. Palafin is harassed by cameramen obsessed with photographing its secret transformation. One cameraman fakes an emergency to lure Palafin out but is genuinely attacked by Klawf. Liko respects Palafin's privacy and has Sprigatito distract the photographers, allowing her to witness the transformation. Palafin rescues the injured cameraman with assistance from Ludlow, who uses his secret superhero identity, Mighty G. While reviewing photos of the day, the group spots a suspicious spire in the distance.
