Liko, Roy, Dot, and Friede meet Briar while encountering a Bombirdier that drops metal objects to startle them. Dot's Tinkatink attempts to improve her hammer by molding a piece of metal but loses it to the Bombirdier. The group chases the Pokémon to retrieve the metal. During a subsequent battle against two Bombirdier, Tinkatink evolves into Tinkatuff. Tinkatuff and Quaxwell work together to defeat the opposing Pokémon. This event highlights Tinkatink's determination to craft a better tool despite the initial loss and the challenges posed by the wild Pokémon they faced on their journey.
