After Diana returns, she challenges Liko to a battle, which Liko wins using her Floragato. Diana then explains that Lucius founded the Explorers and that she had been researching the organization's origins. The group subsequently returns to the Crystal Pool, where Lucius' wife, Rystal, appears from the dead. It is revealed that both Diana and Liko are descendants of Lucius, shocking Liko.
