A flashback shows Rystal escaping three men attempting to seize Terapagos, aided by Lucius and his Rayquaza. The group later meets Gibeon at a bar and travels to Laqua. Gibeon remains to study crystal energy, which subsequently spreads and causes all Pokémon species to become aggressive. During this chaos, Gibeon falls into a hole, and Lucius is killed by the crystals. In the present timeline, Rystal bids farewell and returns to the deceased, leaving Terapagos in tears. Terapagos is then caught by Liko and joins her team, while Diana once again leaves the group.
