Rochelle is actively searching for an item called Amberite. Meanwhile, Team Rocket has their own plans regarding the Amberite. They intend to steal the item from Rochelle. Additionally, the villains plan to take Donphan for themselves. The episode focuses on the conflict between Ash, Rochelle, and the antagonists over these specific targets.
