Ep. 2: Ash meets Iris and Axew while Team Rocket targets Pikachu and Zekrom in Unova

Pikachu recovers from lightning strikes attributed to Zekrom, prompting Professors Oak and Juniper to pursue further research. Team Rocket arrives in Unova to steal Zekrom and Pikachu. Ash begins his journey with new equipment and encounters Iris and her Axew while attempting to catch a Pidove. Team Rocket executes a plot to capture Pikachu, Pidove, and Axew. Ash battles Jessie, James, and Meowth, receiving unexpected assistance from Oshawott, who has followed them from Professor Juniper's lab. The Pokémon are rescued, and Team Rocket disappears. At the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy heals the group. Iris acknowledges Ash's bravery despite his childish demeanor, while Ash questions Oshawott's motives for helping them.
