Ep. 3: Ash and friends help Sandile save trapped Pokémon while recapturing Oshawott

Ash and Iris discover Oshawott is following them because he was called cute. Professor Juniper sends a Poké Ball, but Oshawott vanishes. They meet Dan, whose father’s sand spa is disrupted by Sandile led by one wearing sunglasses. Ash, Iris, and Dan find the Sandile were helping Pidove, Deerling, and Patrat trapped by hot spring flooding. The Sandile form a bridge to save the group, but Ash falls onto a small island when the bridge fails. A second flood traps Ash behind him. Oshawott uses Water Gun to rescue Ash from the rising waters. However, after the move, Oshawott nearly falls into the hot river. Ash seizes this moment to successfully recapture Oshawott into the Poké Ball.
