They soon run into Officer Jenny, accompanied by young detectives Doyle and Christie, who arrest the group despite their protests of innocence. Cilan intervenes by revealing his identity as the Gym Leader of the Striaton Gym, clarifying the misunderstanding. After Officer Jenny apologizes for the arrest, she explains that the Audino in town are disappearing one by one, indicating a serious issue affecting the local Pokémon population.
