Ep. 9: Axew battles Pansage while Iris recalls its origin and a Scolipede rampage

Cilan and Iris battle with Pansage and Axew, where Pansage waits for a Dragon Rage that manifests as a sneeze. Iris shares the story of receiving Axew from a hometown elder. Meanwhile, Axew becomes trapped in a Scolipede’s antennae, triggering a rampage. Pikachu tracks the creature, leading Iris to deploy Excadrill, which initially refuses to obey. After freeing Axew, Excadrill finally engages the Scolipede, defeating it before returning to inactive mode. Concurrently, Team Rocket receives intelligence regarding a meteor in Unova and meets their local contact, Pierce.
