As the Woodate Comet draws near, Ash, Iris, Cilan, and Alexa travel to the ruins where the namesake legendary hero first observed the celestial event. Their mission to witness the phenomenon is complicated by the presence of several Ghost Pokémon inhabiting the area. Additionally, Team Rocket arrives with the intent to capture Pikachu once again. The group must navigate these threats while attempting to observe the comet's appearance from the historic site, balancing their interest in the astronomical event with the need to protect their partner and avoid conflict with the rival organization.
